Infosys International began in 1986, formed by our CEO Raj Mehta, as many start-ups do, from Raj’s home.  The business grew quickly, incorporating in New York State in 1990 . . . and, today, we own our 14,000-square-foot headquarters building in Plainview, New York.  From this facility, we have marketed Information Technology, as a full systems integrator, products and services to public-sector (local, state, and federal) customers as well as commercial, utility, and transportation-sector clients. While we started serving the mainframe communities and have transformed along with rapidly developing IT trends over the last 30 years to offer the very latest in web, mobile, and cloud technologies.
 
Our long-time customers include many federal government agencies, from air force bases to the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy to Brookhaven National Laboratories.  We serve many state governments in the northeast, including a large number of local county governments as well.
 
Today, our many and varied IT services are offered our public-sector clients under several contract vehicles, such as our New York State Project-based IT Services contract (PBITS #PB023AA) as well as our GSA Schedule 70 IT Services Contract (GS-35F-0273V).  We also offer a wide variety of staffing services under a number of state and local contracts from New York to Florida.  To accommodate these agencies we are certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).  These certifications help agencies to acquire state and federal funding.
